I’ve been so busy with school that I completely missed this, Austin made an appearance on NBC’s new show, “Are You There, Chelsea?” on Wednesday. He played a character named Luke in the episode titled, Believe. I have added a synopsis of the episode below, four stills, and a link for you to view the full episode online.

Chelsea’s roommate, Dee Dee, is a bit of a shut-in and will absolutely not get off the couch. Chelsea worries that Dee Dee needs to cultivate a social life. But more importantly, Dee Dee’s constant presence keeps her from christening the living room with her latest fling, Fireman Mike. Sloane plans a church group social at the sports bar, where Chelsea finds the perfect match for Dee Dee.

What was it like working with people who were deaf on “Switched at Birth?” Did you learn any sign language?
I learned a ton of sign language! Sean Berdy is such a grea guy. I had a blast hanging out with him.

How do you relate with your character Wilke on “Switched at Birth?” Do you two have any similarities or differences?
Wilke is such a carefree guy for the most part. He just sort of goes with the flow. I’ve been doing a lot more of that lately in my personal life. Live’s so much more fun when you accept that it’s all about experienes.

What would you like to see yourself accomplish in the next 5-10 years time?
I’ve got a sort of long-term to do list of people I want to work with, things I want to learn, and places I want to visit. I hope to have checked off a good deal of that list in ten years.

Vanessa Hudgens and her boyfriend Austin Butler hold hands as they take a romantic stroll on Saturday afternoon (November 26) in Venice Beach, Calif.

The 22-year-old actress and the 20-year-old actor grabbed lunch at 26 Beach restaurant before hopping onto their bikes and riding down the boardwalk.
